We host educational workshops ranging from financial literacy to homeownership, life skills, entrepreneurship, faith-based initiatives, workforce & economic development. We also mentor young adults in various ways to help assist them with, not only choosing the right path for themselves, but most importantly give the encouragement needed to Stay the Course!!
Derrius had a longtime dream of serving his community ever since the age of 5 when he declared that he would be a "Ranger" as he affectionately called Florida Highway Patrolman. He graduated high school in 2013 & enrolled in Florida Gulf Coast University's Corrections Program. In 2015 Derrius became a Corrections Officer with the State of Florida. He was still enrolled in college and on the path to pursue a career in law enforcement up to his fateful car accident November 2016. He died in the hospital as a result of a combination of neglect & his injuries. It is our goal to continue his dream and serve our community in any way that we can. We work to connect those who provide services with people who are in need of them. With a special focus on young adults who share Derrius' same ambitions. We can utilize your support to help us continue our efforts to connect those in need to the proper resources!!
We currently partner with Jean Ribault High School to ensure that all students get the support that they need. Our founder has served as the CFO of the Athletic Boosters & currently serves in an advisory role to support the administration. We sponsor the athletic department, various school events including the infamous annual NW Classic. This is a friendly football rivalry played against the sister school William M Raines High School. This event hosts over 20,000 attendees annually! Help us to be able to continue to pour into our community schools.
